Toca cares about the environment. That is why the TSSDJ-SB Small Street Series Djembe Black Stain is made in an eco-friendly way. It's made of wood that was grown on an environmentally friendly, sustainable plantation. After the wood is harvested, the TSSDJ-LB is artfully hand-carved from a single piece of mahogany, and given a highly durable design so that it will last you for years to come. The wood is artificially dried in accordance with strict specifications, so the moisture content can be controlled. Twenty layers of teak oil further ensure the protection and preservation of the wood.
The TSSDJ-LB authentic design
The large Toca TSSDJ Street Series Djembe Black Stain produces a full and rich sound. It is one of the largest models in Toca's Street series, and as such it delivers quite a big sound. This wooden djembe has an authentic design with traditional rope tuning and a drumhead made of carefully selected goatskin. All in all, the Street Series djembe offers a highly authentic, traditional sound, combined with a gorgeous classic design.

Nadat ik dit product ontvangen had meteen aan de slag gegaan. Voor mij is Djembee spelen 'nieuw' en omdat ik zelf thuis opnames maak (in allerlei stijlen) wil ik zoveel mogelijk instrumenten zelf bespelen. Als beginner op de Djembee viel me op dat het geluid heel diep is (door de Mahonie) maar ook de hogetonen met een slap komen er goed uit. Ik heb bewust gekozen voor een Djembee die van hout gemaakt is. Als gitarist zijn weet ik dat toonhout echt het verschil maakt. Ik ben er nu een tijdje op aan het spelen en het bevalt me prima. Uiteraard voor beginners op Djembee zoals ik. De prijs kwaliteit verhouding is zeer goed!
